Ultima Online Outlands is a great UO shard with an original story, original land, monsters and rules. But everything is so well integrated in Ultima universe that it really feels as a natural evolution of UO Renaissance version.
Welcome to Avadon, a wild and unforgiving land that resambes Sosaria in several ways, but so different and wonderful in the same time. Life in Avadon is brutal, thieves, murderers and monsters roam everywhere, gold is very hard to earn and easy to lose, skills are incredibly time and resource consuming to learn and your life is in danger the moment you leave the protection of the town guards.
Then, what is so great about it, you may ask? The hardness of it precisely. This made tremendous value for every 100 gold coins you manage to safely deposit in your bank, for every piece of skill you gain and for any other accomplishment. It draws you in this wonderful universe and made you want more and more of it. The only way to understand what I say is to taste it yourself.
